This is a mainly private residential area off Bukit Timah / Dunearn Road and near the former Singapore Turf Club (now replaced with a shopping complex - Turf City).
The area is where the Singapore Swiss Club and the Swiss School, catering to citizens/expatriates of Switzerland (as well as other nationalities), are located. The club was established in 1871 as the "Swiss Rifle Shooting Club of Singapore" and has a long history that tells the story of the early Swiss community in Singapore. Not surprisingly, the road name on which it is located is Swiss Club Road.
