Map of Kallang Way / PIE Flyover, Aljunied Road, Geylang Bahru Terrace and Sims Way in Singapore
This maps shows a mainly industrial area (Kallang Way 3/4/5, Kallang Sector, Genting Lane) with a section of the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) traversing in a bend from the upper-left to the right.
In the lower-left quadrant is seen a major interchange of the PIE and the new Kallang-Paya-Lebar Expressway (KPE). Built around it are several exits/flyovers leading to/from the major surrounding trunk roads :- the Kallang Way Flyover, the Kallang Bahru Flyover and the Aljunied West Flyover (Sims Way).
Near the right edge of the map is residential comprising HDB apartment blocks and Macpherson Primary School.
The lower part of the map shows Sims Drive, an old HDB precinct that will be undergoing the HDB Selective Enbloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS) en-bloc upgrading in future (as of 2008 Jan). A former slip road from Aljunied Road leading into the PIE(to Tuas) was permanently closed on 11 September 2005.
